What Are Prefabricated Buildings?
Prefabricated buildings are made in sections or complete modules in a controlled facility, then transported and assembled on site. There are two main methods:
- Volumetric modular buildings: complete 3D room modules, already fitted out, that are joined and stacked on site. They give the fastest installation.
- Panelized buildings: wall, floor and roof panels assembled on site on a steel frame. They allow larger spaces and more flexible layouts.
We use whichever method suits your building’s size, use and site access. Buildings can be temporary, semi-permanent or long-term, and can be expanded or relocated later.
